This Privacy Policy describes how Bedrok (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you use our creator subscription platform. This is template legal copy for the MVP — your legal counsel should review and replace it before production launch.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly: account details (via our authentication provider), profile and creator page content, posts, support messages, and reports.
We also collect information automatically: device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, pages visited, and cookies or similar technologies used for session security and preferences.
Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How we use information
We use personal information to operate the platform, authenticate users, process subscriptions, display creator content to supporters, enforce our Terms, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service.
We may send transactional emails (for example sign-in or billing notices) through our service providers. We do not sell your personal information.
When we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run Bedrok, including:
• Clerk — authentication and account management • Stripe — payments and subscriptions • Supabase / hosting providers — database, storage, and infrastructure
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. Creators’ public profiles and published posts are visible to other users as described in your visibility settings.
Payments and subscriptions
When you subscribe to a creator, Stripe processes your payment. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data they collect. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and customer identifiers) to grant access to gated content.
Data retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal and operational requirements (for example tax or dispute records).
Moderation records (reports) and support tickets may be retained for a reasonable period to operate trust and safety programs.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
Bedrok is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
